Neighborhood block parties, pick-up football and basketball games and the celebratory chimes of the ice cream truck, are just some of the summertime sights and sounds in North Easton’s Tanglewood neighborhood.

“If the kids aren’t playing football or basketball, you will find them riding bikes or Flyer’s, driving their Power Wheels, or playing on each others swing sets,” said Courtney Pupkin, who moved to Serenade Park in 2014. “Every home seems to offer something different to do.”

The Tanglewood subdivision is a dual entrance neighborhood located off Foundry Street/Route 106. Symphony Drive, Concerto Court, Harmony and Lullaby lanes are a haven for 100 meticulously cared for properties and a landing pad for neighborly fun.

“Many summer Friday nights are spent in our driveway,” said Pupkin, mother of two children. “As people come home from work and the kids return home from camp, the adults have cocktails together and the kids eat pizza and play until dark.”

Tanglewood also features two bustling parks: one where children play soccer, football, baseball, frisbee and more, and a second walking park located in the center of the executive subdivision.

“There are over 100 children in this neighborhood and after school, instead of playing video games or on iPads, children are playing until the street lights come on,” Pupkin said.

Asthetically, Tanglewood features lots of beautifully done stone walls along with over two miles of sidewalks, vertical granite curbing and lots of trees.

“It’s my favorite time of year right now, when our pear trees are in bloom adding to the overall beauty of the neighborhood,” she added.

Beyond the borders of the Tanglewood subdivision lies a wealth of local amenities.

“Tanglewood is a highly desirable area and convenient to multiple commuter rails stops, all highways including routes 24, 95 and 495,” said John Allaire, owner of Easton Real Estate. “Right nearby are Starbuck’s, three major supermarkets, many fine dining restaurants and Borderland State Park.”

Home values throughout the sought-after development range from $800,000 to $1.7M, Allaire said. Currently, four homes are on the market ranging in price between $878,000 and $1.5M.

When describing the Tanglewood neighborhood — her family home since 2014, Pupkin said it is truly a special place.

“The neighbors are extremely friendly and it’s nice to have so many young children growing up together,” she said.
